Remembering Joyce Brent
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear friend, member and long-standing volunteer, Joyce Brent. Joyce, aged 73 from Flixton, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday 16th September.
Joyce has supported our work every week at Salford Heart Care and Eccles Healthy Heart Club for many years and her help and dedication in the kitchen and coffee bar has been invaluable. Joyce was such a caring and kind person who could always be relied upon. She put others before herself and never expected reward in return for all the hours of service she gave us. Joyce joined us on many day trips out and supported out get-togethers and helped at our Christmas parties.
We are all very shocked and saddened by her recent passing. She will be very much missed by all her friends at the club. Our thoughts are with her husband, Paul, and her family at this very sad time. Joyce’s family have asked us to set up a fundraising page in her memory.
